Brooklyn Designer Samantha Pleet had debuted her collection in 2006, mixing elements of the mysterious, fantastical with a bit of modernity. This year Pleet showcases her cute collection off-site, downtown (part of the Greenshows). Visually the clothing didn’t look eco-friendly, emphasizing that clothing can be fashionable but at the same time “green”. Her collection showcased bathing suits, dresses and high-waisted skirts.
