Born in India, Naeem Khan had moved to the United States as a teenager and apprenticed with?Halston, where his own style developed. In 2003, he launched his collection which is now sold in over 100 specialty stores. At this season’s New York Fashion Week, Khan showed yet another glamorous collection, showcasing primarily evening wear. Some of the highlights were the dandelion yellow floor-length gown with black embroidery, the one-shouldered gowns with beautifully textured fabrics, the caftan inspired dresses and his skirt of ostrich feathers.
