Sean Capone is a video installation artist based in New York City. He received his MFA from the school of the art institute of Chicago, and has been working with digital moving imagery for the past 20 years as both artist and designer. His work uses large-scale animated projections to examine the social space created at the intersection of media and the built environment.

Sean’s work has been exhibited in museums, festivals, and public art contexts internationally. He is the recent recipient of the grand prize for public art for his installation produced for the Dumbo Arts Festival, and was officially recognized by American for the arts’ public art network for their 2010 year in review.

Archy & Mehitabel (Alex Horwitz & Lee Waters) write, perform, and produce music and video work from their home studio in New York City. They make their videos there too. It?s a lovely place to visit. Alexander is a classically trained composer and music theorist. He?s not bad with orchestration either, but he?s no Rimsky ?Korsakov. Lee speaks several unusual languages and lived in Siberia for a while because of it. They record primarily with Neumann microphones; Harpsichord parts are played on an instrument by Zuckerman. Piano parts are played on a Steinway Model B. Lee?s voice is known in classical circles as ?Basso Cantante?, an extremely low register with unusual flexibility and sweetness. Alexander?s mother is herself and accomplished pianist although these days rides horse most of the time. She calls often. Although both are from the same area of the middle of nowhere, Alexander and Lee didn?t meet until they were living in a derelict industrial park in Brooklyn, NY.

Zaiba Jabbar is a self-taught filmmaker living in London. After studying graphic design at Central Saint Martin’s, Jabbar has worked in the music video industry since 2006. However, she made the move in 2008 into more fashion-orientated projects.

Since then Zaiba?s has been profiled in the New York Times, for her film for David and being one of only two winners of ASVOFF and Vogue Italia?s Light Series prize competition in Milan for her video for William Richard Green. During the two years Zaiba has been making fashion films she has worked with a number of commercial brands and smaller fashion labels which include Aquascutum, Mulberry, Levis, Hint Magazine, Spring69, New look, David David, Hermione De Paula, Bordelle, William Richard Green, and Fashion 156, Dazed Digital, Charlie Le Mindu, Vice Magazine and NIKE.

The Lovely Jonjo has been DJing for 8 years. Starting as a core part of the small team at legendary London indie club Trash. Currently Jonjo is a resident DJ at Punk Wears Prada in Milan, is resident at the internationally renowned Durrr, including dates in Paris and Dublin and boasts his own East London night, Hot Boy Dancing Spot; which hosted a party to open Elmgreen and Dragset?s award winning show at the Venice Biennale last June. Jonjo has supported Maximo Park on tour in China and has played Club nights in Athens, Tel Aviv, Barcelona, Berlin, NYC and Tokyo. Jonjo has created catwalk music for London?s top fashion talents including Gareth Pugh, Sophia Kokosalaki and Marios Schwab. And is known for playing at art and fashion events in London, New York, Istanbul, LA and Milan for the likes of Established & Sons, Vice Mag, Mulberry, Topshop and the Goethe Institute. Jonjo has also been profiled in international press such as the UK?s i.D and NME, New York?s East Village Boys and appeared on the cover of Holland?s Butt magazine

Touted as a ?photographic child prodigy?, Indira Cesarine?s first solo exhibition was at the age of 16 at the Paul Mellon Arts Center. By the time she graduated high school she had exhibited 4 one-woman shows of her photographic work. While finishing a triple major in Art History, French Literature and Women?s Studies at Columbia University, she began shooting for a variety of top modeling agencies including Elite, Ford and Wilhelmina Models. Once she finished her degree, she went to London to pursue her interests in photography and journalism. Within 6 months of arriving in London, she was appointed Editor at Large of the British magazine ?Don?t Tell It?, and began shooting editorials for many magazines in England, the US and Europe.

Over the years her work has sparked the interest of some of the world?s top creative directors, having been commissioned for British Vogue, GQ, Glamour, Marie Claire, Tatler, The Times, In Style, L?Officiel as well as many other international publications and advertising campaigns. She is currently represented internationally with agents in New York, London and Milan.

Her career as a director began with her first short film, ?City of Love? being featured at Cannes Film Festival in 2007. Since then she has directed, produced and edited numerous short films while maintaining an active career as a photographer. In 2009 she produced and launched the multimedia publication XXXX MAGAZINE, showcasing original multimedia productions of fashion and video art films.

In January 2010, her work was exhibited in a solo show in Paris at Visionairs Gallery, presenting large scale photographic images juxtaposed with her video art productions she directed for XXXX Magazine. Other recent exhibits include: The ?Voyeur? Exhibit, Art Basel Miami, in collaboration with XXXX Magazine, Miami Art Museum Contemporaries, American Friends of the Louvre and Quintessentially, December 2010; ?Motion Deconstructed Exhibit with Quintessentiallly Art, New York, June 2010; Soiree Au Louvre Video Art Installation at the French Embassy, June 2010; New York Fashion Shorts at the Tribeca Grand, September 2009; London Fashion Shorts at Machine?A Gallery in February 2010; View Imaging exhibit, New York, December 2009; and The Distorted Beauty Show, April 2010. Her photography has also been chosen to appear in Dolce and Gabanna?s 20th Anniversary book curated by Fabien Baron.

Indira and her work have been featured internationally on TV shows such as E! TV, Fashion TV, Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, HBO?s Special ?Ford Supermodel of the World?, MTV, ?HIGH SOCIETY? and ?Make me a Supermodel? UK and US editions.

Anders Bramsen, born 1974, is a Danish video artist and film editor.

Since 1996, Bramsen has created a number of experimental films, art house documentaries, dramatic shorts and video installations. His pictures have been shown on national Danish TV (DR2) and at New York City film festivals and art venues, including the Brooklyn International Film Festival (Brooklyn Museum of Art), Anthology Film Archives, Galapagos Art Space, DUMBO Arts Center and Scandinavia House, (Victor Borge Hall). His movies have also screened in California, Colorado, Texas, Arkansas, as well as in Europe and Asia.

Bramsen’s work emerges from situations where personal isolation and inner life rule. His films are based on observations of life’s conflicts, tenderness, pain, and absurdities. They feature characters facing existential crises; these are often altered into dreamlike scenarios and presented in an unconventional manner. His video art appear more lighthearted, blissful and coloristic.

He?s also involved in editing documentaries and dramatic films. His talent in film and video editing springs from his conceptual approach to filmmaking as whole and that?s what makes him the editor he is. His rhythm and style is always forward looking and innovative. Some clients include Pacific Street Films, Daedalus Productions, Zentropa Productions and Electric Parc.

Bramsen divides his time between Los Angeles and Denmark.

Carol Brown graduated from, St Martins (4 year BA HONS Fashion) knowing she wanted to work in an area of fashion using her studies in history of art, museum research and fashion illustration.

After being asked to work as a make up artist on several test shoots, she realised how she wanted to channel her ambitions. She was taken on by an agency in the early 80?s and soon progressed to work with stylists Debbie Mason and Lucinda Chambers. This resulted in a Harpers cover closely followed by Vogue where she had the privelige of working with Grace Coddington and Liz Tiberis. At the height of the ?super model? era Carol became the make up artist for the George Michael Freedom video.

80?s London was exciting and creative but without the modern convenience of photoshop. Carol learned her craft well and has always taken pride in flattering and enhancing skin, creating a demand for personal appearances, press junkets, photographic editorial, advertising, film and commercials.

Based in London, Carol has worked in New York, Paris and Milan and has travelled the world extensively for location work.

For many years being an artist, to me, meant painting, but over the last few years art has evolved into moving image and audio as well as the still image. This has opened up alternative possibilities to explore what we perceive to be reality and to have the ability to present it as something completely different.

I have written, produced and co-directed several narrative shorts including the poetic ?Spellbound? trilogy, but more recently I have been involved in creating and developing multi-layered atmospherics and kaleidoscopic split-screen.

A series of road trips up and down the hills of San Francisco – time-altered, mirrored voyages which turn reality on it?s head. Then came ?metroscopic? in 2009. A night-time underground, overground, train journey which has been shown at film festivals in London, Berlin, Paris, Dublin, Siena and Zurich.

I have been employing similar techniques to produce a series of multi-layered distorted voyages and illusiory displacements of time and place to compliment the music of Satsangi and their new album ?No Shoes in Satsang Hall?.

My latest music (?these are my bananas? + ?and still my bananas? by DJ 00 Newchair) along with accompanying DVDs, are a diverse mix of pulsating dance tracks alongside flowing, ambient sound pictures.

Powerfully rhythmic, layered beats mixed with hybrid synthetic sound and original sound morsels recorded from the everyday. Drift on the electronic seas of atmospheric chill-out soundscapes.

?Confrontation and chaos mixed with calm and cerebral. Weird and wonderful. Late night or early morning – ?these are my bananas? inhabits a space between two worlds of light and dark – a schizophrenic adventure reverberating through an alternative world?. Says my uncle Gordon

Monica Elkelv is a filmmaker and art director based in London-UK. Elkelv?s interests range from the incorporation of the personal identity into the avant-garde forms in social, philosophical and metaphysical contexts. Elkelv is directing fashion films, video art and working as a freelance art director for feature films and commercials. Her latest art direction commission film ?Beyond the Fire? by Maeve Murphy has been awarded ?Best UK Feature? at London Independent Film Festival 2009 and ?Best International Feature? at Garden State Film Festival 2010 in New Jersey. Elkelv?s films has been screened at Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, Whitechapel Gallery, Somerset House, In/Off Science Museum, Dialectos Digitales (Bolivia), Imprenta (L.A), New York Fashion Shorts, BIB NY, T.E.A Spain, Vauxhall Fashion Scout (London) Machine A, Vauxhall Fashion Scout and showcased in SHOWstudio, Dazed & Confused Digital and 4X Magazine.

Gabriella Daris is an artist, dancer, researcher and academic writer. She was born in Canada and grew up in Greece, frequently traveling around the world researching dance anthropology and cultural aesthetics. She trained in classical ballet (RAD), (BA) in Art History and Literature (Goldsmiths College), (Post-Grad Cert.) in Dance History and Criticism (University of Chichester), (MRes) in Humanities and Cultural Studies (The London Consortium) and is currently working towards a PhD. She has performed and choreographed both for films and the stage, and taught contemporary dance worldwide including, UCLA and The Art Institute of Chicago. She performed and exhibited her work around the world, including, Benaki Museum – Athens, Gervasuti Foundation (for the opening of the 53rd Venice Biennale), Cabaret Voltaire Dada ? Zurich (with her most known work, Woman-Bird), Asian Art Museum – SF, Highways Theatre – LA (with a performance best of 2007 by LA Times), Patravadi Theatre – Bangkok. Her academic contributions on the subject of body memory, dance, improvisation, photography and film, appeared in various conferences and academic journals and she is currently contributing with a critical essay on a Russian silent film for a forthcoming book publication by Palgrave Macmillan. Her research interests among many are eroticism, philosophy of death, dance history, archaeology & discourse of the body, with focus on the work of de Sade, Bataille, Blanchot and Heidegger. She has collaborated for a decade with filmmaker and collector of pre-cinema, Werner Nekes, on various experimental dance and erotic films, with former gallerist and artist, John Dunbar modeling for a series of photographs and drawings, and more recently, with conceptual artist, Michael Clark, on poetic plays, through the medium of sculptural performances.

Nicholas Hopkins was born in Darlington, is a photographer and filmmaker. His most known films are, Le Grande Fumer (Super 8, 1995), Angels of Desire (16mm, 1997), Objects of the Dead (Video, 2000). He has been photographing since 1988, specializing in street and landscape, B & W, portraiture, and occasional, dance photography. He exhibited his work in Shell Central – London (2005), Decimas – Berlin (2009), Decimas – London (2010) and is currently working together with Gabriella Daris, on a film project ?Masks of Desire? drawn out of his and hers massive masks? collection.

Derek R. Audette was born in Hull, Quebec, Canada. He has been a professional musician for more than a decade, being completely self-taught and proficient with 5 separate instruments, much of my time is spent playing and writing music. He has been called one of Canada?s most promising and potentially important young artists. His musical compositions have appeared in hundreds of films and television, radio and Internet broadcasts and he has performed in front of audiences across the continent. While Audette is primarily known for his unique and imaginative styles of poetry, music and abstract painting, he has also experimented extensively with video, digital art, photography and various forms of conceptual art. It has been said that as an artist “Audette possesses one of the broadest and most diverse ranges of talent among Canadian artists today.”

Jaime Gil Larios is a multidisciplinary artist. After finishing his studies in Granada Art School, he started experimenting in a wide range of fields such as film, theatre, music, and different forms of graphic art. Originally from Spain, in 2005 he moved to London, where he has worked as a fashion photographer and as an art director for magazines such as B Magazine (Italy), Neo 2 (Spain) and Androgyny (UK). He has recently been focusing on the theatre stage and TV, for which he is currently carrying out two projects as an actor with Spanish television company El Terrat.

John Dunbar is the son of the British filmmaker Robert Dunbar, one of the last links to the joint Anglo-German film productions of the early days of sound cinema. John attended Cambridge University where he met the singer Marianne Faithfull. The couple was married in 1965 with Peter Asher as the best man and spent their honeymoon in Paris with the Beat poets Allen Ginsberg and Gregory Corso. In 1965, Dunbar co-founded the Indica Gallery with Barry Miles. The gallery became known for staging exhibitions by cutting edge artists, including Boyle Family, and Yoko Ono from the Fluxus movement. It was at Indica where he introduced Ono to John Lennon. Indica folded in just two years, after which Dunbar became an artist and exhibited work alongside Peter Blake and Colin Self. In January 2006 John Dunbar participated in the International Symposium on LSD in Basel, honouring LSD inventor Albert Hofmann on his 100th birthday. With John Hopkins and Barry Miles, Dunbar gave the seminar “LSD and its visual impact”.

Director and photographer Michael Williams started his career in Paris shooting for many of the world’s most prestigious fashion magazines like Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle and many others. He now lives between NYC and LA and directs TV commercials as well as focusing his photography talents on celebrity portraiture, beauty and ?special projects? only when it comes to fashion.

Tracy brings energy and years of experience to Judy Inc as a head booker to hair and makeup, wardrobe, food and prop stylists. Starting off at Judy Inc as their Office Manager, Tracy soon moved to the booking table as an agent. Five years passed and Tracy decided to switch gears, accepting a position as a model booker at Elmer Olsen?s agency.

Tracy has returned to Judy Inc to continue her work as head booker, managing the careers of Toronto?s most talented artists (while managing life as a mother of three teenagers). When she?s not fielding calls on her Blackberry (which isn?t very often) Tracy enjoys a good glass of wine and the company of friends.

Morgan is an Irish Photographer, with a broad focus, though working most often in architecture and fashion. Mentored in Architecture and Architectural photography by David Grandorge, he then went on to assist John Stoddart.

His work has been featured I numerous international publications including ?Vogue, Dazed and Confused, Another Magazine and Wallpaper. He has also exhibited with 192 Gallery, Proud Gallery and The Dalston Superstore in London.
