For Spring 2011 japanese designer Junko Shimada presented a bold collection with bright tights, knitted dresses, prints such as stripes and polka dots paired with paper boat hats and massive green and yellow fabric flowers. The collection featuring a red, white, pale blue and green color palette was presented in front of a performance art troupe in a submarine style smoky plastic bubble, with flashlights playfully shining out. ?Lady Gaga has been a noted fan of their edgy collections.
