Felipe Oliveira Baptista originated from Portugal and graduated from Kingston University in London, where he studied fashion design. Baptista?s ready-to-wear spring/summer 2011 collection was inspired by the concept of bodies in motion. Models walked down the runway in patch-pocket vests with pierced leather panels, trompe l’oeil tuxedo themed tailored jackets and dresses, sheer dresses with solid patches and lots of cutouts/layering colors and shapes.
